Hello, I'm Lily and I'm the creator and designer behind Garden Party Needlepoint. I live in Washington, DC with my wife Ryan and our two dogs Casanova and Sofia. In my day job I work in the art museum world, and I've been a lifelong artist and crafter exploring many different mediums. I learned sewing and embroidery from my next door neighbor when I was a little girl, and I've continued to play with all types of needlework ever since. I got my first needlepoint kit with my mom when I was 12, and I have been especially smitten with needlepoint for the last several years.

I've been an avid gardener for over 10 years, and I'm so excited to finally bring my passions for needlepoint and everything home- and garden-related together with Garden Party Needlepoint! My goal is to design cheerful canvases that appeal to all stitching skill levels. I hope you'll find a canvas you love!
